This quick project was used as marketing material to show off some of the recent courseware developed on the DIF eLearning platform.
I did this project to enter the monthly Blender contest on Reddit. The theme was 'Rocket'. While I didn't win, I'm very happy with the outcome.
With this piece I was trying to create a very clean design using 3D to achieve a 2D look. I was inspired by a mix of optical illusions and classic science fiction cover art. This was the first work that I uploaded to Rarible and there are currently 10 copies for sale as NFTs.

One of my first attempts at using Blender, I worked on this project specifically to force myself to overcome challenges and learn how to accomplish a visual style that was outside of my understanding. I decided to base this concept off of a painted still life for its composition and lighting, while exploring how to setup materials in a way that made me more confident in using Blender in general.
